About Me
“Rachel, you smile a lot when you photograph. Did you know that?” — Yep!
Over the last decade, I’ve photographed every type of photo session or event you can think of, and what I’m most known for is: Wedding and Elopement photography and Fine Art Landscape Prints.
With (or without) a camera in hand, you can find me hiking, sailing, running, snuggling with my dog Maui, foraging for mushrooms, or working on a house project.
I grew up in Wisconsin, moved to Vancouver, WA in 2015, and moved to Olympia, WA in 2023.
Traveling for weddings is never a problem because I believe it’s an opportunity for an adventure!

I want us to work together, giving you the best experience. We’ll pick out the best locations, outfits, and timelines, so all you need to do is relax and be yourself.
My creative process involves following my intuition, taking chances, and being patient. Embracing this process has created some of my favorite candid photo memories for couples and families.

Sustainability — You may have noticed an emphasis on incorporating the environment into my photos. It’s because I can’t help but notice (and capture) how undeniably beautiful the world is! I believe it’s vital that we take care of this shared space we call home.
