About Me
“Rachel, you smile a lot when you photograph. Did you know that?” — Yep!
Over the last decade, I’ve photographed every type of session or event you can think of and what I’m most known for is: Weddings and Elopements, Branding for Small Businesses and Landscapes.
With or without a camera in hand, you can find me hiking, sailing, running, snuggling with my doggo, or ugly crying to an inspirational movie.
I live in Vancouver, Washington just outside of Portland, Oregon, and I’m currently preparing to live and work full-time on my sailboat in Olympia, Washington.
Working Together
When past clients talk about working with me they often mention feeling relaxed, like they were just hanging out with a good friend AND that the session was actually fun!
I want us to work together, giving you the best experience. We’ll pick out the best locations, outfits, and timeline so all you need to do is relax and be yourself.
My creative process involves following my intuition, taking chances, and being patient. Embracing this process has created some of my favorite, candid photo memories for couples and families.

Sustainability — You may have noticed an emphasis on incorporating the environment into my photos. It’s because I can’t help but notice (and capture) how undeniably beautiful the world is! I believe it’s vital that we take care of this shared space we call home.
