5 Ways to Honor Passed Loved Ones at a Wedding

This is an emotional topic, but an important one.

Over the years, I’ve seen a lot of ways that passed away loved ones can be honored at weddings, and I wanted to share with you, what I’ve seen if you need ideas for your wedding.

If you’ve lost family members or friends who can’t be with you on your wedding day, it can be incredibly difficult.

So here are 5 ways to honor deceased loved ones at your wedding.

1. Photos of them

Perhaps the most common way to honor our passed loved ones.

2. A candle

A simple gesture that’s always touching.

3. A extra chair for them at the ceremony

We know you’d be here today if heaven weren’t so far away.

4. A locket or heirloom tied to the boquet

You could also chose to have their favorite flower as part of your bouquet or floral design. — This is a subtle but so sweet way to show your love.

5. Dedicate a song for them during the ceremony or at the reception.

However you decide to honor your passed loved ones, know that you’ve made the right choice. They’re smiling down fondly, and couldn’t be more happy or proud of the life choices you’re making.
